    Cedar Fork Resident is Laid to Rest Friday-Leaves Wife and 5 Children.

    John Clampitt, 87 years old, died last Wednesday, December 7, at his home near Cedar Fork. The funeral was held Friday morning and his remains were laid to rest in the Cedar Fork Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. F. Quick.

    Mr. Clampitt was born in 1834. In 1865 he was married to Miss Malissie Kieth and to them were born nine children, five of whom are living. They are: Mrs. Cora Mercer, Mrs. Emma Voughan, Mrs. Clara Hill and William and Charles Clampitt. Mr. Clampitt also leaves a widow, several grandchildren and scores of other relatives and friends.
